Display your proclamation in a visible place in your business, and let us know when you’ve hired someone with a disability. Remember to get written approval and release forms to post individuals private disability status.

Polishing The Professional services are similar to an employment agency, except our services are FREE to employers. Our online job search engine, “The Job Search Buddy,” is designed to allow employers to post employment opportunities, FREE of charge. Employers receive a user name and password to post employment opportunity by logging onto www.TheJobSearchBuddy.com. Job Seekers are also provided access to our job bank with a user name and password so they can see your employment opportunities and apply to your open positions. However, instead of the application going directly to the employer, it is immediately sent to our recruiters for pre-screening to evaluate the candidates knowledge, skills and abilities for a possible match before the application reaches the employer, saving the employer valuable time and resources and identifying strong matches for the position.

Polishing The Professional takes pride in helping our clients achieve success. To that end, all clients are required to be assessed to determine their preparedness for work. Prior to being connected with employers, PTP requires each client to be ready to work before placement can occur. In addition, we provide complete and extensive background checks which include, but is not limited to, previous employment history, education, criminal history, medical history and other issues which may impact work. This background evaluation is not intended to create barriers to employment, rather to aid our clients in making the correct choices for work options. This information is not shared with employers, but it allows us to guide our clients to an employer and position which they are more likely to obtain and allows for finding employment faster and increases long-term success and self-sufficiency.
